Yummy!

I don't know about any of you out there, but I think this cake looks amazing. I'm hoping for my wedding I'll be able to have a friend that will want to make my cakes for me. (Brides and Grooms) If not I'll mostly like try to make the cake because I really do not want to spend $500 to $1,000 on a Wedding Cake. I don't think that is such a bad idea, except that I might get worked up the week before my wedding and be completely stressed out where I'll just want to relax the whole weekend. Even though I know I will not relax.

But BEAUTIFUL CAKE!!!

What was I thinking?!?!

How can I get married if I don't even have a ring on my finger... so guess what... I found some rings that I like the look of.

This is my very favorite style. I love this one.. or one a lot like it! :D

DRESS... for the bride.

Today at school, in the boring computer class that I have to take, I started looking at wedding dresses because I just thought about what I wanted in a wedding dress. I found some but I can't get them to copy and paste so I'll just give you the hyberlinks to go and look at them. But I did go looking online again tonight and I found some that I can show you pictures of. (I'll give you make comments on the dress and what I like/don't like about it.)

This dress below is really pretty and elegant but it is almost to simple for me. I kinda want a dress with a little bit of bead and a few ruffles (NOT to many!) but I do really like how the look of the dress is. Very flattering!

This dress is something I like but not something I would probably put on and where down the aisle. I like the simpleness of the dress and like the top but there is almost to much beading at the top of it.

The next three pictures are all the same dress just at different angles. (Front, Back and a better top view) I really like this dress, pretty much just don't like the off-white color. I want an all white dress, not really an off-white or cream. But I LOVE the train and the little beaded bust line. So cute! I like how it just flows and its not to big because I was reading up on wedding dresses and since I am so petite I shouldn't get a dress that over powers me because then it takes away from the bride... AND we do NOT want that. So I really like the simpleness but the nice details that comes with it.

Those are all the dresses for now. But you know there will be more to come in the future.

Side NOTE: I was talking with my dad earlier tonight. And we were talking about how I should just rent a wedding dress because I will only where the dress one time and then pack it away in hopes that my future daughter or daughter-in-law will want to wear it but she probably won't even want to. So with all that, it would be a wise choice to just rent a dress for a few days. The only thing with that is alterations and how much it would cost to rent... Do they even do that???

More on the FLOWERS!!!

I love these flowers! So pretty!!

So at Sams Club, I remember Cindy Geil, my mom's friend, told us when her oldest daughter Erin got married that Sams had some good deals on flowers and she had bought a few and she took the stems off some of them and put them in a bowl of water and last a long while.. WHICH I LIKE A LOT!  So I went online to see how much it would cost for flowers and this is what I got.

Gerbera Daisy - Soft Color Assortment - 80 Stems

                                                     Shipping Included

How much better can you get?? I was reading some reviews on there and most people said to get more than needed though. So maybe I should get two or three. I haven't decided what I'm doing for the tables and everything else yet. Just on the type of flowers but what an awesome deal.

NEW DECISION MADE.... FLOWERS!

I decided I really like the colors yellow and white with hits of pink.. Is that okay? It would be a Spring Wedding so those colors would be in season.

I LOVE Gerbera Daisies. I would do lots of yellow and white with a few pink thrown in.. SO PRETTY!!

I like this look, maybe I would do something like this.. I'm price checking to see these.

BEAUTIFUL!! LOVE IT!!

A good thing to know!

Is this weird..

that I already know the month and year that I want to get married in?

O WELL! So I did the first thing on everyone's list of things to do.. I decided the month I want to get married in... Are you ready?

APRIL!!!

I think getting married in the Spring would be perfect because its not to hot not to cold and you can have the most beautiful flowers at your wedding. I was reading online (of course) and it said that May it gets to warm and most of the time causes people to sweat and if you don't know me, I'm a sweater! And they said March is to unpredictable about the weather could be cold could be getting warm. That is why my choice is April.

I was thinking I want to get married when I'm 24.. I think thats a normal age. I'm not sure. It sounds good. So that would be in 2016... THAT IS ONLY 6 YEARS AWAY!!! I still need to meet the man... sometimes I wonder if I have ever met him or if I have just passed by him or if I've never even seen him before... How crazy would it be if I have already met him?!?! I think pretty awesome.

So in April 2016... I HOPE!! :)
To start off I'm going to copy some checklist on here so I have something to work with. Here we go:

LOVE IT!!! I love making list.. so this is just the start.

Here the Deal..

So I started saving all my ideas on the online notepad yesterday, when I remembered I had started the blog and NEVER use it so what a perfect opportunity but to use it now. So like I said, on this notepad I have some of my idea and things I've copied and pasted or written down myself. That I'm going to just post. Most of it is just the "List of Things To Do" but hey... those are important too!

The $5,000 Deal!!!

My dad told me that if I could plan my wedding for under or right at $5,000 that he would give me $5,000... so lets just see if I can do that. I don't know but I love challenges. Let's see, the date is January 24, 2010 and I am 17 years old. I am not planning on getting married anytime soon so I have lots of time to plan this thing. Hope my future husband doesn't mind. :D But as I said before, (before it got all deleted) I find it absolutely ridiculous that people spend $40,000 to $80,000 on a wedding. I understand it is a very important day and that its a day you will always remember but come on, you can save that money and have an awesome honeymoon, or have some money to start off on and pay the bills, or if your an awesome planner and love to plan ahead, you could start an account for your children's college fund. But hey, thats just me. So I hope that you really enjoy this blog/note/what-ever its called.

But I do love to plan.. so off we go!!!

                                                                (I love this picture!)
