The $5,000 Deal!!!

My dad told me that if I could plan my wedding for under or right at $5,000 that he would give me $5,000... so lets just see if I can do that. I don't know but I love challenges. Let's see, the date is January 24, 2010 and I am 17 years old. I am not planning on getting married anytime soon so I have lots of time to plan this thing. Hope my future husband doesn't mind. :D But as I said before, (before it got all deleted) I find it absolutely ridiculous that people spend $40,000 to $80,000 on a wedding. I understand it is a very important day and that its a day you will always remember but come on, you can save that money and have an awesome honeymoon, or have some money to start off on and pay the bills, or if your an awesome planner and love to plan ahead, you could start an account for your children's college fund. But hey, thats just me. So I hope that you really enjoy this blog/note/what-ever its called.

But I do love to plan.. so off we go!!!
